Author Biography

Ron Geskey has over 30 years of senior account and media management experience at leading advertising agencies: Leo Burnett/Chicago, D’Arcy, Campbell Ewald. He is now CEO of 2020:Marketing Communications, a publishing and consulting company. In addition to General Motors, Geskey has also worked with Green Giant, H.J. Heinz, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Keebler, Glad Products, Allstate Insurance, American Bankers Association, 3M Company, and others. Geskey has taught advertising classes at Texas Tech University and the University of South Carolina. He holds a Masters Degree from Southern Illinois University, doctoral work at Texas Tech, and management education from Wharton, Northwestern, and Michigan State. Geskey is also the author of marketing materials sold at, and he is the author of a new book, David vs. Goliath: Guerrilla Media Buying for Small Business, A New Way to Win.
