Author Biography

A free-spirited book lover since childhood, Coleen Paratore is the author of many titles including How Prudence Proovit Proved the Truth About Fairy Tales and The Wedding Planner's Daughter, a novel for middle schoolers. A voracious reader and the mother of three sons, she lives in Albany, New York.

Mike Reed is an award-winning illustrator with recognition from Communication Arts, Print magazine, AIGA, and the Los Angeles and New York Societies of Illustrators. Children’s books he has illustrated include A Chill in the Air and The Bug in Teacher’s Coffee. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
