Summary

A 15 yr old fan of the reigning actor of the day is found mutilated and virtually unidentifiable. Detective work blames the last person to see her alive, the actor Gordon Chandler. Newly single and stunningly handsome he cannot believe this is happening to him, but the journalist assigned by a national magazine to cover it agrees, and plays along with the detective to aid Gordon. The relationship between Gordon and Erica gets serious. DNA matches are inexplicably close and he goes into hiding with Erica.
