Author Biography

Scarlett Cornelissen is Professor in the Departments of Political Science at Stellenbosch University, South Africa Fantu Cheru is Emeritus Professor of African and Development Studies at American University in Washington DC, USA, and Research Director at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, Sweden. Timothy M. Shaw is Director of and Professor at the Institute of International Relations at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago.
