Lucas St. Clair and Yemaya Maurer are a husband-and-wife team with 20 years of combined experience teaching backcountry camping skills.  St. Clair leads the wilderness training program at the Gould Academy in Bethel, Maine.  Maurer is a freelance writer covering local conservation issues.  This is their first book.
