Author Biography

.Dr Azrini Wahidin is a Reader in Criminology and Criminal Justice in the Centre for Criminal Justice Policy and Research (CCJPR) at the University of Central England. She has taught at Keele and in the School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research at the University at Kent. She is also a visiting Professor at Middle Tennessee State University in the department of Sociology and Anthropology.
..She holds a BA (Hons) in Sociology from Goldsmithn++s College, University of London; a PGCE in History and Sociology, a MA in Criminology from Keele University and a PhD in Criminology and Gerontology from Keele University.
..Dr Wahidin has numerous publications and books in the field of: gerontology, criminology, sociology, social policy and gerontology. She has co-authored a textbook for Oxford University press entitled: Criminology, and has edited two academic books: Ageing, Crime and Society and Foucault and Ageing.
