Author Biography

Promoter E. Taylor has been a fixture of the DC club scene since the 1980s. With the founding of his company evipLIST he was able to photograph exclusive images with his digital camera ( a first) of the worlds most iconic entertainers, sports stars and celebrities in the clubs of Washington DC. In this book, readers and fans go beyond the velvet ropes and VIP rooms into the venues and parties with some of their favorite stars. Previously unpublished, these dope full-color photographs and fliers take you back then when cellphones and selfies didn't exist. Celebrities abound, from Michael Jordan, Halle Berry, Lebron James and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs to Eminem, Kim K and Jay-Z. Taylor takes you to many of DC's top nightlife spots, including the world famous Dream Nightclub, DC Live Nightclub, H2O Nightclub, Chapter III Nightclub and LOVE Nightclub among others.
