Summary

This manual is the first-and currently the only- complete guide available on the market for students who are planning to take the DAT. It offers two full-length model exams with answers. They are preceeded by an overview of the test, special advice to Canadian students, and questions most frequently asked by students preparing for the DAT.

Author Biography

Frustrated by the lack of test preparation material available during his review for the DAT, Richard A. Lehman assembled a team of professors, dentists, dental students, and other individuals to write the first complete test preparation book specifically for the DAT. As contributing editor of the official ASDA Handbook: A Resource Guide for Predental Students, he has considerable insight into the concerns of the dental school applicant. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Richard is currently studying at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and School of Public Health in the D.M.D. and M.P.H. degree programs, respectively. He is the president of his dental school class and holds a national ASDA leadership position on the Editorial Board. Richard is actively involved in the pursuit of knowledge through research. He is a member of the Author's Guild, National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the American Student Dental Association (ASDA). In his free time he enjoys skiing, cycling, and running. As for his ambition in life, he says he would like to become a dentist when he grows up.
