Summary

The Kalon, (as they call themselves,) who live on ballicaster created their Agathism during the Great Chavish. It helps them achieve ataraxia and maintain lagon through the Concinnity. These delitescent people honor the Cynosure, partly because in their region, it is often in kumatage. They speak in holophrasis and have a generally glandaceous complexion. Though their actions are somewhat foudroyant, their lives are irenic. These people, monists all, who exist outside of the commonly accepted nooshpere, measure many a thing with millihelens. Thanks to their location, they are constantly surrounded by a thick smell of petrichor. Their Leader insists on spending most of his time in his phrontistery and is in a permanent state of Presque vu. Many an elder dislikes him and swears that he is a logodaedalist, but many an impressionable teen finds him zaftig, even though his facial hair is often compared to vibrasorae. As your scribe and translator, I must here apologize for my strange language; I did not mean to seem bombastic. As I stated before, they speak in holophrasis, which makes it very hard to relay complete meaning. However, if you'll stay awhile, I'll explain all, and a few individuals may find an inamorata, or inamorato. Even though the wiser and older a Kalon is, the less need they have of labels, (such as he vs. she, this one vs. that,) and love, they are encouraged in the younger generation. These are a people who measure things based on their beauty vs. the amount of Helen's beauty it took to move just one of the Ancient Greek ships. Yes, they know of the outside, or rather, the inside world, because their aging is based on experience of beauty, and love and sadness are considered the most beautiful prosopopoeia, and most of the world can be applied to one and or the other. As children, it is taught to even appreciate the darkest, most haunting of beauties, and to store them in one's dystopia. The leader, (who is really just a preacher of the Agathism and maintainer of the Concinnity,) has recently come to the conclusion that such dwellings are to be balanced, for too much focus on them can be deleterious. The elders, who quickly grew tired of the Leader's circumlocution, and are all at least septuagenerarians, refute this idea. They say that the only true bête-noire is humor, which they define as 'the inability to comprehend the beauty of a situation' and consider to be almost biocidal. Then again, these same individuals still try to cling to the idea of abiogenesis, even though the outside world has proven to be dyslogistic to such claims.I do apologize, this is not a report on an entire society, and our prologue is almost finished, but I have a few more pearls to pass on before we can begin. Each individual decides what to be yclept at each new Chavish, and announces it then. To others, this may seem like a cacophonous clatter of voices, but the Kalon have achieved such harmony, such inner peace, that when ten voices are raised, all can be discerned. Each individual perceives their own spiritual truth, gathered from those of many others, but all are captivated by the one star that is the Cynosure, because it often reflects in such a way on the surrounding water and ice, that it is beyond their ken; beyond that which is known and understood. Every person one has met is either kith or kin.
