The story is written in Belfast dialect and set in the Catholic district of the Falls Road post World War II and tells how the stunningly attractive, feisty and fearless Isabelle McKitterick, meets champion Irish dancer Jack Kennedy. Author Biography

Anne-Marie was born into a Catholic family in Belfast, Northern Ireland the second eldest of 6 children.

Her childhood life centred around going to Mass and Irish dancing, but that all stopped when she turned 15 and her life changed forever when her family had to escape the troubles in Northern Ireland, and became refugees in England.

This is Anne-Marie’s first book, and is the true story of her Mommy’s life and her family’s struggle to survive circumstances of extreme adversity. It is a remarkable love story which spans 50 years, and a story that Anne-Marie promised her now 82-year-old mother that she would write before she lost her memory to dementia.
