Author Biography

Lisa Archer is the alter ego of a San Francisco-based writer. Her fiction has appeared in Best Bisexual Women's Erotica; Best Women's Erotica 2002; Five Minute Erotica; Awakening the Virgin 2; Pills, Thrills, Chills, and Heartache: Adventures in the First Person; and other anthologies. Kathleen Bradean lives in Los Angeles, where her long commute allows her lots of time for wicked little thoughts. Several of her short stories have been featured on erotica, scifi, and horror websites. Tenille Brown resides in South Carolina with her husband and two children. Her first novel, What It Looks Like from the Outside, is set for publication in 2004. She is currently working on the first novel of a three-book series. Tulsa Brown is an award-winning Canadian author who donned a hat and dark glasses and crept over genre lines in the middle of the night. Her mother thinks she's writing something scholarly. Shh. Rachel Kramer Bussel (www.rachelkramerbussel.com) is the reviser of The Lesbian Sex Book, coauthor of The Erotic Writer's Market Guide, and coeditor of the erotica anthology Up All Night. Her writing has been published in Adult Video News (print and online), Bust, Curve, Diva, Girlfriends, On Our Backs, Oxygen.com, Playgirl, Rockrgrl, The San Francisco Chronicle, and over twenty erotic anthologies, including Best Women's Erotica 2003 and Best American Erotica 2004. Rosalind Cary's first stab at smut was intended as a gift for a boyfriend, and landed her the prized "Best Lay of the Month" honor in Penthouse Letters Magazine. Cary was so inspired that she decided to write stories as gifts to herself. She has recently been published in Cliterature and is honored to be included in Best Women's Erotica. She lives in New York. Elena Coats is a Wisconsin-based secretary who uses erotica to shape her naughty thoughts. She has enjoyed all forms of writing since she was old enough to hold a pen, and must have something good to read at all times. "Rococo" is her first published story. Sacchi Green (sacchi@sff.net) lives in western Massachusetts, with occasional forays into the real world. She's published fiction in five volumes of Best Lesbian Erotica, two previous volumes of Best Women's Erotica, as well as in Best Transgender Erotica, The Mammoth Book of New Erotica '03 (the prequel to this story), Penthouse, and a knee-high stack of other anthologies with very inspirational covers. Cameron Haus grew up in a steel town in southern Ontario, not far from Buffalo. She couldn't wait to leave. Today she lives with her partner and feline family in Toronto. She likes to make up stories about people she sees on the street, in malls, and, in this case, at Disney World. Honest. Rachel Heath has been published in Ripe Fruit, A Movement of Eros: 25 Years of Lesbian Erotica, On Our Backs, The Spanke Shoppe, Stand Corrected Jr., and Bad Attitude. She enjoys lying in bed, listening to the radio and reading-among other things. Adhara Law is a former scientist turned writer living in Southern California with her husband, though she calls Wyoming her real home. Her work has appeared both in print and online over the years, and she enjoys indulging in the digital ego project that is www.adharalaw.com. Lisa Prosimo's stories, articles, and essays have appeared in anthologies, journals, and online forums. She lives in Northern California with her husband and several thousand grapevines. When she isn't writing, you'll find her traipsing the Sonoma hills sans shoes, her feet stained a curious purple. Teresa Noelle Roberts is a fiction writer, poet, Middle Eastern dancer, and gardener, among other time-consuming avocations. Her erotic fiction has appeared in Ripe Fruit, Stars Inside Her, The Phonebook.com, satinslippers.com, Touch Words II and Moist. She is one of the two writers behind the pseudonym Sophie Mouette, whose work has appeared in Moist and StoryMistress. Maria Elena De La Selva was born in Panama and grew up in a temporary clearing now being reclaimed by the jungle. She lives in Seattle, where she cofounded the School Alliance Program at the Richard Hugo House, an urban writing center. She is a winner of the Mendocino Coast Writers Conference Poetry Contest. Helena Settimana lives in Toronto, Canada. Her fiction, poetry, and essays have appeared online at Scarlet Letters, Clean Sheets, and Dare. In print, her work has been featured in many anthologies, including Best Women's Erotica 2001 and 2002, Erotic Travel Tales, Best Bisexual Women's Erotica, and From Porn to Poetry: Clean Sheets Celebrates the Erotic Mind. She moonlights as Features Editor at the Erotica Readers and Writers Association (www.erotica-readers.com). Danielle Smith's stories and novels have appeared in many print and electronic publications, including Penthouse Variations. Her flash fiction received a turn as "Author-of-the-Month" at Amoret Online. She's also an active participant in the Erotica Readers and Writers Association, which first published "Brushing Back the Years" for its gallery. Susan St. Aubin has recent work in Best American Erotica 2003 and Best Women's Erotica 2002. She is currently fascinated by the intersection of sex and politics, due to her own inappropriate attraction to Donald Rumsfeld. Lana Gail Taylor's stories have appeared in Best Bisexual Women's Erotica; Ripe Fruit: Well-Seasoned Erotica; Bedroom Eyes: Lesbians in the Boudoir; Playgirl; Clean Sheets; Mind Caviar; and Blithe House Quarterly. Oscar Wilde said, "Lying, the telling of beautiful untrue things, this is the proper aim of art." So Lana dedicates this lie to Sally, RIP.
