Since 2003, the prize has been awarded by architekturbild e.v., a non-profit organization, and since 2008 in cooperation with the German Architecture Museum, Frankfurt.The title “in between” refers back to the theme of “Architecture in Context” (1999) – but as a reversal, not a repetition.
