Summary

An anthology of stories based around the very first mystery detective, Le Chevalier C. Auguste Dupin, created by Edgar Allan Poe.

Dupin famously featured in 'The Murders in the Rue Morgue' (1841), then went on to star in two more investigations, 'The Mystery of Marie Rogêt' (1842) and 'The Purloined Letter' (1844).

The anthology will include the original 1841 story and Clive Barker's sequel, 'New Murders in the Rue Morgue' (which was first published in his Books of Blood series) to bookend the stories.

Author Biography

Paul Kane is the award-winning and bestselling author of many books, including the Arrowhead Trilogy, The Gemini Factor, The Hellraiser Films and Their Legacy and The Butterfly Manand Other Stories. He is also the co-editor of Hellbound Hearts and The Mammoth Book of Body Horror. His work has been optioned for film and television and his story 'Dead Time' was adapted as New Year's Day for the NBC show Fear Itself by Steve '30 Days of Night' Niles. His website, Shadow Writer, has featured Guest Writers such as Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Charlaine Harris and Robert Kirkman.

Charles V. Prepolec was born in 1966 and is a native of Calgary, AB, Canada. He is a freelance writer, editor and reviewer. His articles, interviews, artwork and reviews have appeared in various fanzines and he has edited five Sherlock Holmes anthologies.
