Tony DiTerlizzi loves Moon Pies, but he loves illustrated books even more. Raised on such great artists as Arthur Rackham, Maxfield Parrish, and Ernest H. Shepard, Tony began making little books for himself when he was just a kid. Nowadays, he may look older, but he's still a kid at heart. He collects toys, draws, and continues to create books -- like the one you're now holding. He also enjoys visits with the Mars Men in spring when the Martian rainy season is over. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with Angela and their pug, Goblin, who's the real brains behind the whole "kaboodle."
