Author Biography

Avi's many award-winning books for young readers include the Newbery Honor Books Nothing but the Truth and the True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, as well as the Tales from Dimwood Forest, including Ragweed, Poppy (winner of the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award), Poppy and Rye, and Ereth's Birthday. His many other books include Crispin, winner of the Newbery Medal, and Don't You Know There's a War on? Brian Floca is the illustrator of Avi's Tales from Dimwood Forest novels and is the author and illustrator of the picture books the Racecar Alphabet, Dinosaurs at the Ends of the Earth, and Five Trucks.
