Author Biography

ANASTASIA CLARK is a poet.and a freelance writer, too!). She grew up in Framingham, MA -a place which old and have still calls her name to this day-especially in October. She is 44 years been writing poetry in my spare time for over 30 years.She has always looked forward to spending her middle-aged years hunched over a typewriter pumping out poetry. In this dream, She gazes out onto a lake- from a big old cabin with creaky floors, brass beds, hand-made quilts, a fireplace, and a huge porch lined with rocking chairs. She is working on my next best seller, while her devoted publicist staves off editors, publishers and curious fans. . . . In reality, Anastasis has a 20 yr. old daughter, 16 yr. old son-and even a baby granddaughter! She is married and currently resides in South Florida. She works a full time day job. She writes poetry in the wee hours of the morning-in her pajamas- with a cup of coffee by her side.She has learned that the life of a poet is simply the life of an ordinary person. It isn't all autographs and book tours and readings.
