One day when Brady returns to the dressing room, he sees Gregory trying to stuff his feet into his skates and asks what's wrong. Gregory tells him he can't play hockey anymore. He's outgrown his skates, and his parents can't afford new ones.
At first Brady isn't sure how to help without embarrassing Gregory. But then he comes up with a great idea! They can hold an equipment exchange at his backyard rink!
At the Great Exchange, everyone finds what they're looking for. Everyone except Gregory -- none of the new skates are his size. Knowing Gregory can't play without new skates, Brady comes to the conclusion that he may need a new pair of skates himself. And fortunately, his old ones are just Gregory's size.
