Author Biography

Danny Brassell, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Teacher Education Department at California State University, Dominguez Hills. A former classroom teacher, Danny is a popular national presenter who speaks on topics ranging from literacy to motivation. He is the founder of The Lazy Readers' Book Club (www.lazyreaders.com) and has written over 40 articles for academic journals, magazines, and newspapers. Danny is the author of several books, including Comprehension That Works and A Baker's Dozen of Lessons Learned in the Teaching Trenches.
