Author Biography

Tom McEvoy has won four World Series titles. Formerly a 9 to 5 accountant, he quit his day job in 1979 to join the high-pressure poker tournament circuit. In 1995 he wrote the acclaimed Tournament Poker, "one of the most important poker books of all time" according to Gamblers Book Club in Las Vegas.
Dana Smith is the author of many poker books and the owner of a gambling book publishing company. She began writing for Card Player magazine in 1990, interviewing more than 100 poker champions for her column, "Interview with a Champ."
Ralph Wheeler is a World Series of Poker buff. He is the author of "the Wacky Side of Poker" and two calendars for poker players.
