Author Biography

Shao Xiaocheng is a prominent Chinese embroidery artist who is the Director of the Beijing Shao Xiaocheng Embroidery Research Institute. She has been conducting research into the history, reality, theories and practice of Chinese embroidery while engaged in art creation with great concentration in the past thirty years.
