Author Biography

Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, Azucena Sue Rodgers grew up in an extended family, with lots of cousins and other children, both related and unrelated, who fell under the spellbinding magic of her mother, Carolina Barron Saucedo, as she sat on the porch and told the best stories they have ever heard. Those times were special to all the children, and it just seemed natural to continue the story-telling tradition in the family.
