Author Biography

Dr. Nancy J. Kimelman has worked as an economist in the financial industry for more than twenty-five years, serving both buyers and sellers of financial securities. Most recently, she has been chief economist and head of investment communications for a Philadelphia-based mutual fund company. Previously Dr. Kimelman was the chief economist and director of research for a global financial services conglomerate; in this role she provided real-time commentary on economic, political, and financial developments to more than 15,000 institutional investors worldwide. Dr. Kimelman began her financial services career in the bond market research department of a major Wall Street investment bank. She holds a PhD in economics from Brown University. Dr. Kimelman has been widely quoted by journalists around the world and has been a frequent guest on radio and television.
