Author Biography

Wang Fan, Vice President of China Foreign Affairs University, is a professor with a Ph.D. in law. His major publications include Great Power Diplomacy, International Relations Theory: Ideas, Paradigms and Propositions, East Asian Regional Cooperation and Sino-US Relations, and US Asia-Pacific Alliance. His main research interests include Asia-Pacific security cooperation, Sino-US relations, US-Taiwan military relations, China’ s foreign strategy, and alliance issues. Ling Shengli is a Ph.D. and associate professor at Institute International Relations, China Foreign Affairs University. His main research interests include international security and great power strategy, international relations in the Asia-Pacific region, and contemporary Chinese foreign policy. He is the author of books such as Divided but Victorious: A Study of U.S. Wedge Strategy in the Cold War Era.
