Author Biography

Ronald M. Schneider is emeritus professor of political science at Queens College, CUNY. He is the author of Brazil: Culture and Politics in New Industrial Powerhouse (Westview Press) and Latin American Political History (Westview Press) as well as eight other books on Latin American politics. He has also published several analyses of Brazilian elections through the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC.
