The Complete Idiot's Guide(r) to College Biologyfollows the curriculum of Biology 101 so closely that it serves as a perfect study guide, and it's also great for AP Biology and SAT Subject Biology exams that high school students are taking in droves. Excellent review of college biology March 31, 2011
by
This is really an excellent, concise textbook of college level biology. This is not your typical "eat your spinach" college level text. Aside from clearly outlining key core concepts, the book is sprinkled with intriguing tidbits about historical scientific personalities and events, along with strange but fascinating scientific facts. The book is well organized, the key points are clearly summarized and reiterated, and the author's enthusiasm for the material really shines through. Overall the style and format kept my interest focused.
