Summary

Written during his stint as Minister of Justice, Confucius offers up wisdom on Tao or 'the way,' how to be a gentleman filled with goodness, and the importance of rituals and responsibility.

Author Biography

Known as Master Kong to his disciples, Confucius is a staple of ancient history. During his life, he grew from a poor farmer, to a respected political advisor, and taught into his early 70s. Admired for his wisdom and his guidance towards being a good individual with a firm hold on ones' responsibility, he remains a strong influence on morality in China.
