Author Biography

Simon Mouatt is Senior Lecturer in Economics at Southampton Solent University, UK. His research focuses on the erosion of state (financial) sovereignty, and general transformation of the capitalist credit system, from a Marxian Perspective. He is interested in all aspects of monetary theory, and the functioning of capitalist financial relations. Carl Adams is Principal Lecturer in the School of Computing at the University of Portsmouth, UK. His research focuses on electronic money systems, mobile information, innovation cycles, open-source software and the input of new technology on society.
