Author Biography

Douglas K. Snyder, PhD, is Professor of Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at Texas A&M University. Dr. Snyder's research and publications focus on couple- and family-based interventions. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Research Contribution Award from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Award for Distinguished Contributions to Family Psychology from the American Psychological Association. Candice M. Monson, PhD, is Professor of Psychology and Director of Clinical Training at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is also an Affiliate of the Women\u2019s Health Sciences Division of the U.S. Veterans Affairs National Center for PTSD, where she previously served as Deputy Director. Dr. Monson's research and publications focus on interpersonal factors in traumatization and couple-based interventions for PTSD.
