Author Biography

Over her 30-year career, Salma Bhalla, Ph.D., worked in private practice, group practice, and as Director of a Child Development Program. She saw children whose problems ranged from mild to moderate anxiety, stress, depression, attention, behavior and adjustment problems to crisis intervention which at times required hospitalization. She also worked with many parents who were having parent-child interaction issues. Dr. Bhalla has a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has provided training to other mental health professionals, teachers, and pediatricians on children's mental health. She can be contacted at www.ChildBehaviorCues.com.
