Author Biography

Karen Krebbs has extensive knowledge of birds, mammals, deserts, and animal adaptations and behaviors. She worked at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum for more than 26 years. She is an author, researcher, advisor and even trains government employees about bats. She lives in Tuscon, AZ.

Phil Juliano is a syndicated cartoonist and professional humorous illustrator. His freelance work includes children's book illustration, magazine illustration, comic books, activity books, and t-shirt design. His cartoons are published in newspapers and magazines around the world. He lives in Chanhassen, MN.
