Author Biography

JOAN ORME is Head of the Glasgow School of Social Work, a joint school of Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities, UK. She has written extensively on the contribution of feminist theory to social work and on social work education and practice.

DAVID SHEMMINGS is Senior Lecturer in Social Work at The University of East Anglia.  He is the Regional Co-ordinator for the Making Research Count initiative.
