Author Biography

Esther Dermott is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Bristol, UK, and the author of Intimate Fatherhood. Julie Seymour is Senior Lecturer in Social Research at the University of Hull, UK. Recent publications include contributions to Geographies of Children Youth and Families: International Perspectives and (with Sally McNamee) Learning from the Children: Childhood, Culture and Identity in a Changing World.
