Summary

Whether you have a puppy who won't eat or an unhappy dog with an ear problem, as a dog owner, you want to know the best way to care for your pet. Can the situation be dealt with quickly at home or should a vet be involved? Do I Need to See the Vet? will help you answer that question quickly. The symptom-based sections will help you understand what the problem might be. The easy-to-follow flow charts make the decisions clear. The instructions for home remedies are concise, and the remedies are easy to obtain and use. Problems requiring the immediate attention of a vet are pinpointed. In addition, when you do get to the vet, you will be able to give a better picture of what has happened, and your vet will be better able to help solve the problem. Do I Need to See the Vet? includes the most common ailments that bring puppies and dogs to the vet- the ones that, sooner or later, every dog owner is likely to encounter.
