Author Biography

Margaret Griffiths has been writing and editing illustrated nonfiction books for over 30 years. She is credited in numerous award-winning titles on subjects ranging from the politics and ethics of displaying human remains, to collecting teddy bears and dolls. Margaret lives and works in London.

Jake McDonald graduated from Brighton University in 2011 with a degree in Illustration. He uses both traditional techniques and digital media to create his quirky art. Bold palettes and eye-catching patterns are his specialties. His greatest strength is his ability to create characters with personality, which makes him perfectly suited to illustrate for fiction, particularly children's literature. His work has appeared in DK's Doodlepedia Animal Antics and Doodlepedia Dinosaurs, and he regularly provides column illustrations for Latest 7 Magazine.
