Author Biography

Frances Barry introduced the winsome character Duckie in the eye-popping concept-book debut DUCKIE'S RAINBOW. Of DUCKIE'S DUCKLINGS, she says, "I hope children enjoy the playful pantoesque ('behind you') way of counting ducklings as they follow Duckie in a line. And because children are aware of the 'leg pulling' game adults play when pretending not to see them, they may end up wondering, What is Duckie really thinking?" Frances Barry has worked as a designer of greeting cards and stationery and has painted several public and private murals.
