Summary

The B_r_ny Society is named after Prof. Dr. Robert B_r_ny who clarifie d the physiology and pathology of the human vestibular apparatus and w as awarded the Nobel Prize for his work in 1914. The meetings are hel d in his tradition of the highest quality research, reflected in this latest volume. This book's chapters follow the comprehensive coverage of the conference, from basic equilibrium research through equilibrio metry to investigations of clinical disorders such as abnormal eye mov ement, vertigo, chronic schizophrenia and epilepsy. Two sections are devoted to afternystagmus and neurootosurgery.
