Customer Reviews

Great book for all walks of life  April 11, 2014
by

As a self-employed business owner for the past ten years you learn that dealing with customers can sometimes be extremely challenging. It is often that we come across clients and customers that tend to be very argumentative and always wanting their way. They say the customer is always right and for the most part as a business owner you have to conform to this theory. I was always fascinated by arguments and how to argue effectively and not just blowing up on someone with no thought behind it. Smart, insightful looks at the craft of arguing is what the book “Everything’s an Argument” teaches everyone. Whether you are a business owner, husband, wife, brother or sister this book brings a relatable subject matter to all forms of life and personality traits. It dissects all types of arguments and it’s not just essays and editorials but everything from clothes, cars, ads, web design and the list goes on. I was often torn when dealing with customers of how to relate when they became quite agitated and angry. This book made it easier for me to put myself in their shoes and relate to why they were angry. It also helped me with putting arguments at ease and stopping them before they escalated into something bigger than they needed to be. Everything’s an Argument shines a great deal of light on how to deal with even your most annoying enemy’s. It’s smart and really makes you think. It has definitely helped me in all of my recent business endeavors.

Everything's an Argument: 3 out of 5 stars based on 1 user reviews.
