Author Biography

Andre Sims examines both the connection and the division between Christian faith and psychiatry, arguing that, although they seem to represent different world-views, they have much to gain from one another. The author is a former President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and was Professor of Psychiatry in the University of Leeds. He edited Advances in Psychiatric Treatment from its inception in 1993 until 2003, and was founder editor of Developing Mental Health (2002-5).
