Author Biography

Karen Valentin is of Puerto Rican heritage and was born in New York City. She graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and has had devotionals published in Guideposts. She is active in several ministries at Central Baptist Church in Manhattan and uses The Flavor of Our Hispanic Faith as a discipleship tool. Rev. Edwin Aymat is pastor of the First Baptist Church in Irvington, New Jersey. He is a former member of the general board of American Baptist Churches USA, and has been an ordained American Baptist minister for more than 40 years.
