Joseph Brusuelas is chief economist and vice president of Global Strategy for Merk Investments. Previously, he was chief U.S. economist for IDEAglobal. He has held positions at Great Western Investment Management, First Fidelity Bank, and Citibank Solomon Smith Barney. He lives in Connecticut.
