Summary

Somewhere between the casual "thank you" and the formal performance review lies the heart and soul of coaching-helping employees do a great job. Formula 2+2 (two compliments and two suggestions for improvement) tells the story of a manager who discovers that the simple solution to successful coaching is balance-placing equal emphasis on communicating to employees what they are doing well and what they need to improve. With a foreword by Ken Blanchard, Formula 2+2 is a simple and powerful method that can be put into practice immediately.
