The older brother is awful to Gangster Kitty and he is forced to participate in a robbery. This book is the story about Gangster Kitty's first and only robbery. It leads him to discover that there are people who will help him in the world. He escapes kitty jail aka the animal shelter with the help of his friends. Author Biography

Valorie J. Bonner was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She received her bachelor of fine arts degree from the United States International University in San Diego, California. She is a Christian, a proud mother, and a lover of animals. She enjoys reading, writing, tennis, and travel. The character Gangster Kitty was created by my son L Roy Bonner IV when he was eight years old. We were on vacation at the beach in Seaside, Oregon, and we were walking into town when we came across an orange cat with green eyes. My son's favorite color is orange and his eyes are green. He bent down to pet the cat, and it actually let him for a few minutes. Then the cat swaggered off, and my son said, "Wouldn't it be cool if he were a gangster?" As a mother, I did not want my son idolizing gangsters. I proceeded to tell him why crime was never okay. I took the idea further, and using the young cat we had met, I decided to write a story about a gangster kitty who would eventually change his ways. This is that story.
