Author Biography

Maureen Gilmer was inspired to write The Gardener's Way after listeners of her radio program requested more ideas on spirituality in the garden. The author of twelve books for gardeners, Gilmer has appeared on ABCs "The View," "Home Matters," and HGTV's "Willard Scott's Home and Garden Almanac." She presents a weekly radio gardening show in Nevada County, California, and will soon produce gardening segments for KOVR-13 in Sacramento. Gilmers articles and columns appear regularly in such magazines as Better Homes and Gardens, Fine Gardening, and Country Living. She is the creator of gardenforum.com, an award-winning website that seeks to enhance spirituality in the garden. Gilmer also owns Professional Landscape Design, a firm that specializes in commercial and residential landscaping. She lives in Dobbins, California. Gilmer is the author of Gaining Ground.
