Author Biography

Dr. Frances A. Karnes is Director of the Center for Gifted Studies at The University of Southern Mississippi where she is Professor of Special Education. Dr. Karnes is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association for Gifted Children, and a former president of The Association of the Gifted of the Council for Exceptional Children. Dr. Ronald G. Marquardt is Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at The University of Southern Mississippi.
