Marta creció en un pueblo de Barcelona, en una familia de artistas con mucho talento, especialmente su madre, su tía y su abuelo. Estudió diseño gráfico en la universidad y trabajó como diseñadora durante 17 años, hasta que decidió seguir su pasión, estudiando un grado de ilustración. Ha trabajado para editoriales de Estados Unidos, España, Reino Unido, Alemania y Corea.
