Author Biography

Arlene Bernstein is a psychotherapist, photographer, and artist. Since the sale of Mount Veeder Winery after twenty years on the land that healed her, she divided her time between traveling the world with her husband Michael and practicing psychotherapy and facilitating women’s retreats based on the principles discovered in her garden. As an artist, she is inspired in her photographs and paintings to express the beauty and joy derived from her travels and her connection with all that grows. Her current land began as a blank canvas and is now filled with abundant nourishment and beauty from the vegetables, flowers, and olive trees that have made it a healing place for everyone who visits.
