Author Biography

Joyce Moore loves the out-of-doors. She enjoys hiking and horseback riding in the high country with family and friends and bird watching wherever she goes. She was born on a farm in southern Ontario, received a BSc from the University of Toronto, became a dietician and moved to Calgary. With her husband, Don, she owns the Highwood River Ranch in Alberta's foothills, the base for her nature observations and her adventures in the mountains.
