Author Biography

Mark John Sternal, a Chicago native, began playing guitar at a very young age. After relocating to Florida, Mark began to teach music. As a passionate player and teacher, He developed his own style of teaching. It wasn't long before Mark saw a demand for his teaching styles in the form of educational books and CD's. Before marketing his books through retail outlets Mark did a test run. By word of mouth, he sold over 10,000 copies of his first book, Total Scales Techniques and Applications. His follow up products also enjoyed huge success. So much, that direct distribution became a full time business for himself and his wife, Jeanne.
