Janice Kamrin is director of the Egyptian Museum Database and Registrar Training Projects for the American Research Center in Egypt, and serves as an Egyptological consultant to Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the SCA. She is the author of Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphs: A Practical Guide (AUC Press, 2005).
