Summary

The Internet Playground argues that contrary to the promises of technology boosters, teaching with computers is very difficult. Ellen Seiter points out that the Internet today resembles a mall more than it does a library. Ellen Seiter is Professor of Cinema-Television at the University of Southern California where she holds the Stephen K. Nenno Chair in television studies.
